Mobile check-in

Challenge

In 2006, Abilis Solutions and Bell Canada partnered with a major airline company to deliver a project aimed at providing a check-in application for web-enabled cell phones (smart phones or standard). 

Solution

A mobile infrastructure, independent from mobile phone manufacturers, enabling the deployment of multiple, value-added mobile applications.

Since the check-in application was deployed, many additional services have been implemented (e.g. “Notifications” and the purchase and reservation of tickets on-line).
